Secretary's Report was read and accepted; by Mindy Gagner

Treasurer’s Report; Norm White

New Business

·        Tim Austin – He paid all four clubs dues out of the Junior account but each club needs to send $60 to the TBF.

TBF News

·        There was a sponsors meeting and there were 22 Federations whose websites were not up to date with listing sponsors the way they are supposed to be.  We were only missing a couple of sponsors.

·        Bill Spence sold the trolling motor on e-bay for $851.19 but we have to ship it to North Carolina.

·        Our third open is scheduled for the same date as the B.A.S.S. state qualifier so there was discussion as to whether we would get more participation if we were to change the date.  A motion was made and accepted to change the date of the third open from August 2, 2009 to August 16, 2009.

·        There was discussion about the Qualifier on Magog and what about people that just want to stay in the States and fish and people that can’t go to Canada to fish.  There was discussion about changing the rotation now that there is no longer a club up there or possibly doing a duel draw; one for the States and one with the option of going to Canada.  Everyone is going back to their clubs to see what they think and Matt Applebaum is going to put together a questionnaire.

ELECTIONS

Frank Scalise was unopposed for President and was elected.  Gilbert Gagner and Chad                        Brosseau were both nominated for Vice-President but before the vote Bob Crino referred                     to a by-law that states that anyone running for office need to have attended 75% of all                      Federation meetings for a year prior to being elected.  Chad had only attended 50%                         so was not eligible to run.  Gilbert was then elected.  Scott McKay was unopposed for the                         Treasurer’s position and accepted and I was reelected as Secretary.

·        Norm thanked all of the membership since 1994 and stated that he has appreciated the last 15 years as President.

Meeting adjourned at 8:03pm

Respectfully submitted,                     Mindy Gagner
